Hopefully, this newsletter finds you well, and you are enjoying all that summer has to offer to the fullest, plenty of sunshine and time spent outdoors, time for family and friends, time to relax, shopping at Farmer's Markets, and eating fresh vegetables, herbs, and locally grown fruit.
Many of my clients complain about feeling bloated. They start Elimination Diets, journal their food intake, and try their own detective work on the search for the foods that can possibly cause them to feel bloated. When they take the FIT Test, they often find the foods that are the cause and move on with their lives, avoiding these foods and start healing their gut. Some of my clients eat an amazingly healthy diet, are very educated, and feel that they are doing everything right, but they are just missing one piece. The FIT Test helps you find the foods that cause inflammation in you and that is very bio-individual. It takes out the guessing work!
After working with the Food Inflammation Tests (FIT Tests) from KBMO Diagnostics for almost 8 years and loving all your success stories, I would like to share the difference between The FIT Tests and other Food Sensitivity Tests out there available.
Why The FIT Test is different?
Some food sensitivity tests that are offered by different labs are just single-pathway tests that detect only the IgG which indicates food exposure but NOT necessarily food that causes Inflammation. IgG only tests are a single-pathway approach that merely identifies food exposure versus the multi-pathway approach which detects inflammation by identifying foods that cause your symptoms. By contrast, the food sensitivity test offered by KBMO Diagnostics, The FIT Test, is a unique multi-pathway test that detects both IgG 1-4 and C3d which indicates not only food exposure but simultaneously indicates which foods are likely involved in inflammation and leaky gut. The net result is that IgG only tests are non-specific because they identify many foods which do not cause inflammation whereas, the FIT Test is very specific and more accurately identifies those foods causing inflammation.
The FIT test is a multi-pathway test that takes much of the guesswork out of food sensitivity testing by zeroing in on the key foods, that cause inflammation. In conjunction with the test report, KBMO provides a patient phone App so problem foods can be identified quickly while out to eat or when shopping at the market along with a 7-day meal plan to guide your diet.

Please reach out if you would like to find out what causes your belly to get bloated while digesting your food. I have great experiences with the wonderful healing stories of my clients.
A new food in my test results is Oregano. I have used Oil of Oregano during COVID against my sore throat, not knowing that it causes Inflammation in me. I also use Oregano capsules to keep bad microbes out of my gut and balance my microbiome with it.....
Just because a food is healthy, and has
wonderful medicinal properties
does not mean it is right for YOU
(or me....)!
Enjoy this beautiful time of the year and please let me know if I can be of any support to reach your goals!
Wishing you Health and Happiness,
