Fall is here!
Hopefully you all had a beautiful summer with lots of family time, time spent outside, lots of sunshine and blue skies, lots of laughter and good energy, and of course delicious summer foods!
My practice is now 1 year old and I am extremely grateful to all the successes and stories that my clients are sharing with me. Food matters and I am amazed that when my clients follow my advice about dietary changes, matching their medical conditions and personal goals, how fast they are feeling better. It is astounding how an Anti-Inflammatory Diet changes inflammatory conditions in days, how a more alkaline diet brings oxygen into our cells and simply boosts energy levels and clarity.

Blood pressure and cholesterol reduction are a topic of great success, weight loss, recovery from all kinds of illnesses, strengthened immunity, better health in general, and certainly the hope that healing is even an option. Starting November:
The first Monday of each month at 8AM, I am hosting a 30-minute complimentary informational meeting about the FIT Test in my office or in the Yoga room of the Norwell Athletic Club. If there are sign- ups for anybody paying for the Fit test out of pocket ahead of time, we can add a nurse to the meeting.

So many clients are hungry for more information on the newest research on nutrition topics to become educated consumers, be able to make better choices and take better care of themselves and their loved ones.
The first Monday of each month from 7-8 PM I will offer a one hour intense nutrition group seminar. The price for this seminar is $250 for an annual membership or $25 at the door. The topics will be announced in my newsletter!
The meetings will be based on the newest research and will deliver a lot of information regarding nutrition and health. Hand-outs will be given! These meetings include the newest research from trusted sources!
THIS YEAR'S TOPICS ARE:
- Inflammation Through Food - Can We Turn Inflammation On and Off?"
- "Why is Acidity Building Up in Our Bodies by Eating the Wrong Foods?"
I WILL ADD IN-HOUSE CONSULTATIONS TO FAMILIES IN THEIR HOMES.
- Meeting ahead of time to get to know each other and fill out questionnaires is required before I visit homes privately.
- My travel time will be included in the price.
MEAL PLANS AFTER THE FIT TEST
- Outside of my clients appointments, I am able to create meal plans matching the Fit test results. For a 7-day meal plan according to my clients FIT Test results, there will be a fee of $ 39.
- If clients see me regularly (at least monthly), the meal plans are included in the fees for the consultations.
- Please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare accordingly.

The Magic Mineral Broth!
You may want to try this fall the nutrient dense vegetable broth with amazing health properties. Enjoy the goodness of this soup!
At a conference, I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca Katz, nutrition pioneer, and author of several cookbooks.
"Nutritional Healing" is a fascinating topic. My primary interest is for my clients to receive the nutrients they need, through the most natural, healthiest food choices!
I love this particular recipe, "The Magic Mineral Broth" from her book, The Longevity Kitchen.
I usually make a large amount, freeze some, and use it as a foundation of my healthy cooking.
This is the recipe for a nutrient dense vegetable broth with amazing health properties.
Ingredients:
1 fennel bulb, with tops
2 unpeeled yellow onions, cut into quarters
6 unpeeled carrots, cut into thirds
1 bunch celery, including the heart, cut into thirds
2 unpeeled sweet potatoes, cut into chunks
1 large bunch of fresh flat-leaf parsley
6 sprigs fresh thyme
12 large cloves unpeeled garlic, smashed
1 piece of unpeeled fresh ginger, cut in half lengthwise
12 black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
8 quarts cold filtered water, plus more if needed
1 teaspoon of sea salt
Rinse all vegetables well. Put the fennel, onions, carrots, leek, celery, sweet potatoes, parsley, thyme, garlic, ginger, peppercorns, and bay leaves in a 12-quart or larger stockpot. Add the water, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat. Decrease the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 2 to 4 hours. As the broth simmers, some of the water will evaporate; add more water if the vegetables begin to peek out. Simmer until the full richness of the vegetables can be tasted.
Strain the broth through a large, coarse mesh sieve placed over a large heatproof container. Stir in the salt. Let cool to room temperature before refrigerating or freezing.
