It has been a while since my last newsletter and it's time for an update.
Simplify Holistic Nutrition Consulting is now over 3 years old. Thanks to all of you who allow me to be a nurturing part of your life. My business is growing by word of mouth and by referrals from many of you, and I could not be more grateful for that.
My passion and compassion for what I believe:
"The Foundation of Health," Healthy Eating, is always food for thought and should constantly be given room for improvement, creativity, and enjoyment.
To help you even better, I decided to further my studies. I am enrolled in a 1-year program with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to earn a certification as a Functional Medicine Health and Wellness Coach, and from there continue for an international board certification.
As a life-long learner, I just can't stop. I am in awe of all the new research on food and health, and could spend 48 hours a day to take it all in.
Please know that all business activities resume as normal, and I somehow fit reading and studying in at the end of the day. It feels very rewarding to me to be part of this Integrative Health movement.
Please take time and be mindful about healthy choices throughout the month of December. It is the time to reflect and look inwards, listen to your inner voices, and plan for a healthy future.
Please remember that I see all my new clients for a 30-minute complimentary meeting to hear their story and determine how I can help them best.

❝I wanted to send you a short note to thank you for all your help. Before I met with you and discovered my food sensitivities.
I had spent a lot of time trying to figure out why the area around both of my eyes, my neck and mouth was red, swollen and very sore. Over the course of several months, I had to take oral and topical steroids for my symptoms, had patch testing for household products at the dermatologist, and blood testing for environmental allergies and common food allergies.
When none of those tests helped I was back at another dermatologist for a second opinion and was given several creams with a diagnosis of contact dermatitis.
I am thankful that you continued to encourage me down the path of thinking that it could very well be something in my diet that was causing these debilitating symptoms. At some points, I honestly did not even want to leave the house. I hadn't really changed my diet, so of course I was skeptical at first that the blood tests you performed would find any answer.
However, I could not be more happy that the results from your test revealed that at the age of 52, I had suddenly developed food sensitivities with dairy being the most extreme. Your follow-up diet advice was also very helpful in confirming the sensitivity and for giving me options to substitute for the dairy items that I so enjoyed. Just masking a few changes in my diet has literally changed everything. I have no more outbreaks and am back to normal again.

My name's Jenna and we met over the summer.
I just wanted to email you to let you know that I am feeling SO much better. I can eat and not feel like I'm going to get sick in the middle of a meal!
It's been life-changing. Although I had to give up my favorite food, which is eggs, I don't fear the dining hall at school anymore and it's actually helped me get back into shape after having gained weight due to a medication.
