Hopefully, this newsletter finds you well, and you are enjoying the feeling of Spring in the air.
It is a time of new beginnings, a chance for warmer weather, time to allow your mindset to move away from Winter, and time for fresh energy.
It is time to re-evaluate how you can improve your health and lifestyle with healthier choices.
On 2/12/23 my adorable beautiful smart mom passed away by the age of 95 with my husband and me by her side. My mom was my rock, and it is hard to let go. I am looking back at an amazing life well lived, an era of style, unconditional love, and I am grateful for every day my mom was in my life. She will always be in my heart and will continue to be my strong role model. So I am back home in the U.S for good, after 10 trips to Germany over the last 1.5 years. My mom's health declined by the age of 94 due to colon cancer.
Many of my clients complain about their digestive health, feeling bloated, constipated, irregular, or about occasional diarrhea. They start Elimination Diets, journal their food intake, and try their own detective work on the search for the foods that can possibly cause them to feel discomfort. When they take the FIT Test, they often find the foods that are the cause and move on with their lives, avoiding these foods and start healing their gut. Some of my clients eat an amazingly healthy diet, are very educated, and feel that they are doing everything right, but they are just missing one (or several) piece(s). The FIT Test helps you find the foods that cause inflammation in you and that is very bio-individual. It takes away the guess work!
Below I would love to share my latest FIT Test results, and a short article from KBMO Diagnostics explaining what the difference is between the FIT Test and other Food Sensitivity tests available. If you have further questions, please let me know.
KBMO Diagnostics clinical study showed
the FIT Test helped clients
with the following symptoms:
Anxiety/Depression
Bloating/Stomach Pain
Inability to lose weight
Impotence/Libido
Fatigue/Insomnia
Joint Pain
Constipation/Diarrhea
Craving Sugar
Why The FIT Test is different?
Some food sensitivity tests that are offered by different labs are just single-pathway tests that detect only the IgG which indicates food exposure but NOT necessarily food that causes Inflammation. IgG only tests are a single-pathway approach that merely identifies food exposure versus the multi-pathway approach which detects inflammation by identifying foods that cause your symptoms. By contrast, the food sensitivity test offered by KBMO Diagnostics, The FIT Test, is a unique multi-pathway test that detects both IgG 1-4 and C3d which indicates not only food exposure but simultaneously indicates which foods are likely involved in inflammation and leaky gut. The net result is that IgG only tests are non-specific because they identify many foods which do not cause inflammation whereas, the FIT Test is very specific and more accurately identifies those foods causing inflammation.
The FIT test is a multi-pathway test that takes much of the guesswork out of food sensitivity testing by zeroing in on the key foods, that cause inflammation. In conjunction with the test report, KBMO provides a patient phone App so problem foods can be identified quickly while out to eat or when shopping at the market along with a 7-day meal plan to guide your diet.

Health starts in the GUT!...or...As Hippocrates said:
"All disease begins in the GUT!"
I love the new
Gut Barrier Panel included with the
FIT 132 Test and the
FIT 176 Test. It tells us if the mucosal lining of the small intestine is healthy, or if it is porous (Leaky Gut) and needs healing. The small intestine is where all the food we ingest gets assimilated into the bloodstream. Even if we eat the healthiest food sources, organic fruits and vegetables, wild fish and shellfish, nuts and seeds, organic chicken and turkey, and occasionally grass-fed organic beef, and top it off with organic herbs and spices, if our gut does not absorb the nutrients properly, it leaves us fatigued, moody, and un-well.
What is the difference of the FIT Tests from KBMO Diagnostics compared to other Food Sensitivity Tests?
KBMO is focused on Food Sensitivity Testing with their patented FIT (Food Inflammation Test) Test, which now includes the Gut Barrier Panel. (Source: KBMO Diagnostics)
Gut Barrier Panel as described by KBMO Diagnostics
Candida
We measure and use any candida overgrowth in the stomach/dysbiosis as a precursor to leaky gut occurrence.
Zonulin
Zonulin is a marker of intestinal permeability, otherwise known as leaky gut. If a patient has elevated zonulin levels, the normal regulation of the tight junctions is compromised. This zonulin marker is unique to KBMO.
Occludin
Occludin is a marker of tight junction stabilization and optimal barrier function. Elevated occludin indicates that the tight junctions are breaking down.
This panel is included with the FIT 132 Test and FIT 176 Test.
We are offering 3 different FIT Tests for you to choose what suits you best

Please reach out if you would like to find out what causes your belly to get bloated while digesting your food. I have great experiences with the wonderful healing stories of my clients.
A new food in my test results is Oregano. I have used Oil of Oregano during COVID last summer against my sore throat, not knowing that it causes Inflammation in me. I also use Oregano capsules to keep bad microbes out of my gut ....
Just because a food is healthy, and has wonderful medicinal properties
does not mean it is right for YOU (or me....)!
Enjoy this beautiful time of the year and please let me know if I can be of any support to reach your goals!
